Sorry for the delay everyone, but I've come back with packed bags. I have recently been in touch with a friend in Austin who has created Dank Vibes who I look to switch over to help soon so make sure and become familiar with that site. To make up for lost time I have PLM Label with new albums out the wazoo. Here for your listening pleasure I have Gramatik. DL the other free albums here. Long Live Beautiful Bright Frequencies .
Guy Hymns
With this blog I hope to spread music to all ears that wish to hear it. Each hymnal will cover an eclectic range of genres to which I feel the soul, body, and mind need to reiterate into life's daily routine.

Exploit the Frailty of Finals
Travelin' Coast to Coast |
It has been quite a long time since I have posted my last chill set list. The good news is, I promise this will make up for lost time, and it's right in time to help you Exploit the Frailty of Finals . Recently on long drives I have been really trying to perfect the taste with my Pandora account and I must admit, contrary to what I would think it does very well. So, out of the numerous ads and skipped songs I bring you a select four that really got me wondering why they haven't installed a repeat button.

Up first is Little People. I don't know much about (them), but their sound has relaxation written all over it. Goes well with a good bedtime story.
I love good finds like this. Simple music that brings any day under your control. Sign me up, Santa Fe!
If you haven't noticed it yet, I'm a huge sucker for repetitive trance beats. But you already know Deadmau5 delivers nothing short of such a performance. Add that with some beautiful, resonating pipes sputtering heavenly tenor along with each breath Morgan Page takes and you have, well, this song.

Furious Collab Friday
I'm not sure if you guys have seen the newest trailer for G.I. Joe: Retaliation but it had a song which immediately gave it my full attention. I'm not sure about the movie, although it does look slightly more promising than the first, bringing in characters such as Bruce Willis and others which hopefully will curb the terrible acting of Channing Tatum. Either way, if it is as good as their music selection then I'd say we are all in for a treat. Have a look at the trailer below and wait for Le Glitch Mob to kick in, then purchase the song below.

Streamlined Sundays
Painting Courtesy of Molly Gardner |
The painting you see above is none other than Psychadelepant by Molly Gardner. For this and more amazing paint prototypes make sure you like her work on FB and purchase some paintings and help a sister out. For this Streamlined Sundays I have provided you with a new chill instrumental which I was lucky enough to come across. Under the sun, I couldn't take it off repeat. I suggest you do the same.

This first one is most certainly the strongest in the post, yet the most relaxing. Lone is an up and coming artist who works (as most artists do) straight from his room. I couldn't find much information about him other than his YouTube channel, however this song will suffice for now until he makes some more greenbacks. So go purchase and support the cause.

I mean, I just couldn't stop there. Could I? Here's a throwback from Pretty Lights very first album Taking Up Your Precious Time . Just in case you have yet to use your precious time and give it a listen and a fighting chance.

Not sure exactly how I feel about this last one, even though I believe DJ Burnout is on the right track. This choon is a really chill mash-up, and it has Notorious, so you know it can't go wrong.

Four Twenty
Hitler's Birthday, Y'all |
I don't have much to talk about other than Happy Holidays from your neighborhood music junkie Guy Hymns. And no worries the music set for this weekend is extra special. Sooper chill and extremely filthy.
I'm really starting to become addicted to this Reggae-Step collab, and as much as I don't wish to give him credit for it Skrillex is the man to make it happen. Notice how ridiculous his sound is without taking too much from Damian.
Go right now and find whatever will give you the deepest bass. Light up some of that devil's lettuce for your boy Hitler and once you have them, put them on, relax, turn it up, repeat.

Vava Voom: Let the Scripture Fill the Room
BASSNECTAR'S VAVA VOOM Album Release |
Oh yes ladies and gentleman, he's back. Just fresh off it's release is Bassnectar's new album Vava Voom which features the likes of Lupe Fiasco and Tina Malina. The first time I heard this album through I didn't know where to think he was taking it. For the most part it reiterates a chilling bass sound that sends a smooth vibe through your veins. All in all if you aren't impressed with it firsthand, I might recommend giving it one more fair evaluation.

The hit song Vava Voom ft. Lupe is an interesting tune, almost kind of like you're walking through a mirror clown house, but trust me, the tune grows on you. Also notable in this set are Ugly, Ping Pong, and Nothing Has Been Broken.

Only When You Starve the Ego May You Feed the Soul
ZED'S DEAD Presents:
THE LIVING DEAD TOUR ft. OMAR LINX
ZED'S DEAD on tour with OMAR LINX |
By now you should know that when it comes to Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, and Zed's Dead I will most certainly promote it. These are the three whom without hesitation or even a quick preview end up on my iPizzle no matter how heavy the sizzle . Thus I digress, to the deep tomb encompassing a library of fresh goodies from Canada. The big ZD is traveling across the nation with their accompanied rap artist Omar Linx. The new tracks don't hit as hard as they usually do, however the sound is still there and it makes for a nice new vibe considering it is OL's new album and not ZD's. Eh?

Here is there new promotional video for the Living Dead Tour and it leaves you wondering where the hell your ticket is and when you're going.
< - - - - - - - - - >
To commence the festivities and indulge in the new Victor album, we have The One .
This next one is completely ZD with OL rapping over it. It's pretty much the same as Eyes on Fire however right at the beginning you'll notice they introduce some new sounds which I can't wait to hear again and more of.
The last hymnal is much like The One in it's sound and in my opinion is another notable choon.
Be sure to check the dates for your closest town and buy tickets.
